Przedsięwzięcie zakończyło się raczej niepowodzeniem. Próbowałam upiec Panettone. Właściwie wyszło dobre, ale to jednak nie było to, co te ze sklepu. Nie wiem, co jest przyczyną: jakiś tajny dodatek? specjalny aromat? a może po prostu sztuczne składniki, których w moim cieście nie było?
The baking enterprise was more or less a failure. I tried to make a Panettone. It was actually rather good but it wasn’t that good. I don’t know why it didn’t turn out like one of those you can get in a shop: is it some secret ingredient? a special flavour? or maybe just all the artificial additives my cake simply didn’t have?
Sweterek urósł ostatnio, gorzej natomiast ze sprawami akademickimi. Nie jestem zadowolona z mojego planu pracy doktorskiej, i moja pani promotor też chyba nie.
The sweater has grown recently but the academic side of my life is not so bright. I’m not happy with my PhD dissertation plan, and neither is my tutor.
