Wróciłam | I'm back

sharing group 6

Hands up if you’ve recently been to a place that you didn’t really feel like leaving. So you know how I feel.

But I’m trying to concentrate on all those beautiful things that happened to me over those two weeks. There’s so much I’m thankful for: the Bible introduction with brother Emil; meetings in my sharing group, filled with good words and wise words; the hours I spent in the church, together with three or four thousand people or on my own, in silence; the unexpected organ concerts; the singing; welcoming those who have just come; stroking a golden retriever in the incredible heat; and rescuing a female chaffinch that accidentally flew into the Casa.

And what I’m most thankful for is the silence that I drank like a sponge, so that I can keep it in me as long as possible.
