I’ve made a perfectly shaped sleeve cap! I’m so proud. It turns out short rows are what I have been looking for all my knitting life.


Widzieliście wczoraj Perseidy? Ja widziałam jedną, a raczej myślę, że widziałam, bo poprzednim razem wyglądały trochę inaczej. Na pocieszenie świetnie podziałał deszcz ciasteczek. Polecam - smakują równie dobrze!

Did you see the Perseids yesterday? I only saw one and I think it was it because it looked rather different from what I saw last time. But I had a cookie shower to comfort me. Go and make one for yourselves – tastes just as good!

Przy okazji: długo wczoraj stałam po zmroku na dworze i z niezachwianą pewnością stwierdzam, że wieczory, zwłaszcza te mokre, pachną już jesienią.

By the way: I spent a long time outside after dark yesterday and I can say for sure that the evenings, especially the wet ones, are getting decidedly autumnal.
