Miałam bardzo zajęty tydzień, a do tego nieprzewidzianą przerwę w sztrikowaniu. Czesanka przyszła, i to czerwona, ale okazało się, że ma zupełnie inny odcień – jest za ciemna. Zatem sztrikowanie zostało odłożone do czasu, aż dostanę właściwy odcień. Ale zamówiłam sobie też filc – czerwony i zielony i różowy i oliwkowy, i zrobiłam sobie coś, o czym marzyłam od dawna.
I’ve had a busy week and also an unforeseen knitting pause. The roving came, and it was red, but the red was of course not the right shade. It was too dark. Consequently the knitting was postponed until I get the right shade of red. But I also ordered some felt – red and green and pink and olive green, and I made something I’ve long been dreaming of.
Zamierzam w Wielkim Tygodniu ograniczyć komputer do minimum (i całkowicie go porzucić na czas Triduum), więc tu też będzie cicho aż do Świąt. Nie znaczy to oczywiście, że nie będę nic robić – zaczęłam szal z czerwonej brukselskiej włóczki, więc za tydzień pewnie już będzie co pokazać.
I want to limit the computer to the minimum in the Holy Week (and totally neglect it during the Triduum), so I won’t be posting again until after Easter. Which doesn’t mean I won’t be knitting – I’ve cast on for a shawl from the red yarn I brought from Brussels and there might be something to show in a week’s time.
