Skład nieznany, na banderoli jest tylko nazwa firmy: Alwo. Włóczka jest gruba i ma piękny kolor – perłowy krem, z bardzo delikatną sugestią brzoskwini. Jeszcze nie wiem, co z niej zrobię, więc chętnie posłucham Waszych pomysłów.
The label only gives the name of the company: Alwo. The yarn is thick and in a lovely pearl cream colour, with a slight hint of peach. No idea what I will knit it into yet; I’d love to hear your ideas.
I jeszcze Wam powiem, że byłam dzisiaj w piekarni! Mama ma w sobotę urodziny i wymyśliłam (znowu), że upiekę jej tort makowy (bo już kiedyś piekłam, ale wybitnie się nie udał), więc kupiłam dziś mak i poszłam do piekarni go zemleć. Było tam ciepło, na stołach pełno mąki, na półkach pełno chlebów, a panowie piekarze turlali bułki. Chętnie tam wrócę.
And I’ve been in a bakery today! It’s my Mom’s birthday on Saturday and I’ve had this (recycled) idea of making her a poppy seed cake (because I made it once and it went oh so bad), so I bought the seeds and went to the bakery to have them ground. The bakery was warm, the tables were covered with flour, the shelves were covered with bread loaves, and the baking gentlemen were rolling buns. I’ll be glad to go back there any time.
